Do any Meditech hospitals provide a prompt pay discount and if so, how do they handle it? Do they have this automated through Meditech or is the discount a manual process for the Cashiers? We will be implementing a Prompt Pay discount within the next few months and are wondering how to automate the discount on the statements so the patient sees what they should pay within the first 30 days of receipt, but making sure that the discount is removed after 30 days if payment in full is not received.
