We have two RXLs and an ARX connected to a 'data fusion' PC. That PC is interfaced to our MEDITECH system. So, it's one interface for 3 different instruments. The method is RXL no matter which of the 3 instruments the result comes from. What we want is a way to have the method of each test resulted via this interface to reflect the actual instrument the results came from. Or at least have something print on the patient master log that will allow us to identify which instrument generated the results. We are trying to get away from having to save tons of instrument printouts forever and ever. Ideally this would be an 'automatic' process (ie. no extra work involved on the tech's part to have the distinction made and recorded in Meditech). Has anyone found a way to do this? TIA.
