Attach new CDS in place of old on in the intervention dictionary.
Then attach the old CDS to a location, such as Admissions or Medical Records,
or any other location that will not be documenting in NUR. It will be retained
and viewable, and print in the discharge format you set up.

Can you watch this to see what others say? I'm curious. Thanks

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] NUR documentation updates: Changing a CDS

What have you done at your facility when you need to change a CDS screen for
the NUR documentation?

*You have to keep the old CDS to be able to view old documentation.

*Do you need to keep it attached to the intervention?
*Do you need to do a renumber of the intervention in order to keep the old
CDS.
*Or is it just enough to have the CDS attive but not attached to anything
anymore?

thanks
