We have been Live with OR Manager software for scheduling, pref cards, and charging via a scripted interface to Meditech for 1 year. We are ready to implement Intra-op, but now our MM Dept wants to bring Pyxis into the OR for pulling case carts and exception noting supplies and shut down that part of OR Manager leaving only the Billing Rules. We feel unless we have a bi-directional interface with Pyxis, Case Records supply data will be lost for reports in OR Manager. Circulators won't want to exception note OR Manager's CR if there is a Pyxis machine in the room and the charge people won't want to reconcile both OR Manager and Pyxis. Does anyone have this problem?
