We experienced similar problems with our 5.3.6 Live and Test rings using
the 5.5.2 printing software.

We've setup every computer to manually replace the 5.5.2 printing
software with the 5.3.6 printing software after a user logs out of 5.5.2
Test.  All our Meditech client problems were isolated to the mixture of
an old Live ring and the printing changes.  On all our Background
servers we've separated Test53, Test55 and Live.  We've had to roll back
the printing software for our Live servers that had been infected with
the 5.5.2 printing client.  We also had to move all our UNV jobs to our
Test55 servers.

We have experienced many, many nightmares with our servers running live
background jobs since we took C/S 5.5 code into test.  We've also had
problems with one of the servers running the 5.5TEST background jobs.
We have eliminated many possible causes for these issues (two of which
include spontaneous reboots of the server and the Meditech client
needing to be reinstalled after a normal maintenance reboot) and are now
wondering if the 5.5 code might be affecting the server environment
somehow.   We would love to talk with anyone who might have experienced
any issues like this.
