Hi all,
my name is Leonid Oldenburger I am a Master student and I work at the
University of Osnabrück. In the past I developed the Matterhorn 2GO app
[1]. I am currently working on my master thesis and Rüdiger Rolf
convinced me to develop a prototype of a Matterhorn Market in it.
The idea of the Market is to have a very basic Matterhorn system that
can be extend with different plug-ins from a market on the web. The
market will be a separate website, where developers can upload their new
plug-ins. Users can browse and download the available plug-ins on this
page too.
Additional to this the market is integrated into your local Matterhorn
installation too and the plug-ins can be installed/updated/removed with
a few mouse clicks. You might have seen functionality like this in
Wordpress, Drupal, Jira, Firefox, etc...

[2]. I hoping for feedback and some support here for my project. I don't
expect to deliver a ready to use solution as a result of my thesis, but
hopefully it will be something that the community can use to work on a
next version of Matterhorn.
