Hi,
Now that the bugbash is over should we still commit fixes that we
were working on during the bugbash to this branch or wait till the dust
settles and go back to posting patches/committing against trunk?
Cheers
James

Hi Olaf,
Are these two branches:
http://opencast.jira.com/svn/MH/tags/1.4-rc4 and
http://opencast.jira.com/svn/MH/branches/bugbash2 the same?
One is a branch, one is a tag ;)
They started out identical, however the branch will have the bugbash
fixes applied as they are committed, and the tag will not. The
fixes from the bugbash will be ported over into 1.4.x after
everything is done, and then they will appear in 1.4-rc5 (or 1.4.0,
depending).

Hi everyone,
I'm pleased to announce the latest version of the 1.4 branch,
release candidate 4, is now available for testing. You can check
out the code base at: http://opencast.jira.com/svn/MH/tags/1.4-rc4
There are seventeen release blockers at this time. There are a
further thirty five critical issues, ninety six major issues, and
forty three minor issues. Please test this release as thoroughly as
possible, you will shortly find a 1.4-rc4 all-in-one QA server at
http://testallinone.usask.ca:8080 and a distributed test cluster
at http://testadmin.usask.ca:8080. Pre-packaged virtual machines
are available from
http://aifile.usask.ca/opencast/unofficial-vms/1.4-rc4.
This will be the release we use for development in the upcoming
bugbash, so please make sure you have this ready to go before the
bugbash actually starts!
Thanks,
G

Also, we're considering how to incorporate iPads (and Android devices,
the desire was obvious) into the official release process...
