Explanation: Pepperell is the host community of the Patriot Regional Emergency Communications Center (PRECC). The PRECC is expanding from three towns to five on July 1, 2024. Town of Pepperell cost is $341,761.00 and is included in the General Fund Budget. The Department of Revenue is requiring that Pepperell appropriate the entire amount of the additional funding required to support the PRECC, but that amount of $1,474,014.00 is coming from four-member towns and state E911 grants as a reimbursement to Pepperell.
