Has any one been successful running masq and the ssh secured vpn over a tty using pppd? I can get the two linux firewalls to ping each other on their "private address" both the eth0 and the ppp0 <-- masqed network on both machines and on the non masqed ppp1 . The problem is that I cant get the boxs to ping other hosts on the other lan, masq works just fine and the interfaces are all up..... Guess im not to smart on ipfwadm :( can somone help me with the ipfwadm commands for this? My network config is below Master 192.168.1.1 eth0 192.168.1.0 is the subnet 10.0.0.2 is the VPN to Slave Slave i 192.168.0.2 eth0 192.168.0.0 is subnet 10.0.0.1 is the VPN to master All hosts are on a class C network and I have a few redirections running, IE.
