Well I can definitely say I'm having the same problem and I _am_ booting
from the 2.1.98 kernel. In the /proc/net directory, there is a file
called 'autofw' but no 'ip_autofw'.

So, to the linux gurus out there, how does one either

1) Hack the kernel to create the ip_autofw (instead of the autofw)

-or-

2) Hack ipautofw to look at autofw instead of ip_autofw. (or look for
both)

Option 2 seems the best option since I doubt everyone wants to recompile
their kernel rather than a small file.
