Hello all.

My Masq-Gate isn't working, I don't know why.
Here's my setup:

System: RedHat 5.2(glibc) using kernel 2.0.36.

For testing, I'm using an 56K-PPP - dialout-Connection from my
'masq-gate to-be' to my ISP.

The device is called ppp0.

the 'eth0'-device in my masq-box gets it's IP per DHCP from an
NT4.0-Server, but I
figured this won't matter because the NT-Server is configured in such a
way that it
sends always the same IP-address to my masq-box.

on the LAN, I use 192.168.2.x - addresses, where my masq-gate gets the
192.168.2.1
and the NT-box has the 192.168.2.200.

"behind" the masq-gate is a small LAN with 3 WIN98 PC's and the
mentioned
NT-4.0 Server.

The Setup of the windows-clients: (I'm not so sure about this one)

DHCP for the own IP-address,
192.168.2.1 is the Gateway AND the DNS.

I tried to be as close to David A. Ranches TrinityOS Doc as possible.
I am at this point: I compiled the Kernel, including the ip-port
forwarding patches.
I created the rc.firewall - script. I enabled the logging-devices.

At boot-time, the kernel can't find the module-dependencies of the
modules I unselected when creating the kernel-config.
The rc-firewall-script runs without errors, but I'm unable to see the
outside world.
What did I do wrong ?

I probably wouldn't have postet a problem like this, but I'm getting a
little desperate here because my boss put the clock on me. The masq-gate
has to be up and running by friday.

So anyone who might have an answer, please HELP !
