Hey Jon,

You are in SERIOUS luck here.  There is a new patch for Linux and a
new .DLL for BattleZone that fixes ALL of this.  Here is the
relivant info:

>From my understanding, once you apply this new Loose UDP patch 
(which is now in the 2.2.x kernels), re-compile and boot with the
new kernel and then replace the old BattleZone .DLL file, you 
should be able to play without any issues!
