This is actually well known. The reason is that NM sends the local IP address in
a packet body. Masquerading can only change the header. So the NM LDAP server
has both the masqueraded address and the local address.
The only way around this is to use tunneling with PPTP to another NT box, and
then use NM through that. The NM server needs to be on a different machine as
the PPTP server, though.
This is the way I use it. However, PPTP is rather slow.
