Hello, I could use some pointers on setting up IP masquerading for
my household LAN. We have a 2.2Mbps ADSL connection and we're
running Red Hat 5.1 on a P120.

I chose to download Red Hat as I'd seen some messages in searches
that I'd made that indicated to me that Red Hat had the friendliest
interface
(I'm relatively new to Linux) and had a pre-compiled module that supported
IP masquerading.

I have 75+ printed pages of documents (FAQs, the IP masq mini-HOW-TO,
etc...) on how to accomplish this, but all seem rather involved and
complex.
>From what I'd seen it is possible to setup IP masquerading for Red Hat
from within the GUI (Xfree86, with the Win95 like interface, BTW how do you
make it look normal and not like Win95?).

We had Wingate setup on one of the machines and we could surf and FTP
etc..., but we could not play internet games simultaneously. Ideally, we
would
like to be able to run GameSpy on both clients (they're Win95) and connect
to play Quake, QuakeWorld, Quake ][ and Starcraft as well as use ICQ.

If someone could point me to some Red Hat specific IP masquerading
info, or forward that info to me, I would really appreciate it. Also, if
anyone
has any resources or info concerning enabling the ability to play games
use ICQ etc... I would be even more grateful. Thanks.
