I have been successfully using IP masquerading on both 2.0.33 and 2.0.34 kernels for quite some time now. However, on neither kernel have I been successfully able to get any of the three modifications ipautofw/ipportfw or updred to work properly. I have successfully recompiled the kernel with the ipautofw config parameter set and compiled in the modifications for ipportfw, and the programs seem to run successfully. They even modify the files in /proc/net properly, but the redirection does not seem to take place. Any suggestions?
