Hi... I am trying to get my linux box to forward web trafic to an internal
web server that I want to use for a web server for the ip address that I
have been assigned. I understand that this is the function of redir. I
downloaded and made the redir executable and I type (redir 192.168.1.2 80
80) from the root account of the linux box and the command hangs and I have
to press Cntr C to exit. Am I using the right program? Is there any way to
set something like this up using ipfwadm? Is there any other program that I
can try?
Linux box has 2 ethernet cards (192.168.1.1 internal - 24.128.x.x
external). I would like to forward all the trafic that hits the linux
box for a web server response to 192.168.1.2 which I have set up as a
web server. If you can please help me I will be very grateful.
