I use IP Masquerading for Telnet and other services for twenty PCs under
Win95. When I try to connect to a machine via Telnet the first time it
takes a lot of time. The next time the operation is very fast.
I use RH 5.0 kernel 2.0.32. ipfwadm 2.3.0 over a 486 DX2 with 16 MB RAM.
Why the first time is very slow? Any solution?.
Other question:
When I execute ipfwadm -Fl (or -Il or -Ol) some times the system take
five minutes (or ten ... ormore!!!) to show me the table of rules. What
can be the cause of That????
