This is more in answer to the other error message someone
posted here. I've gotten an error on netstat -M and -L for
ages. I started using ipfwadm -Ml instead to view masqueraded
entries (it usually works, altho sometimes gives me an
"invalid input detected" for a few hours). I've downloaded
and compiled nettools, I've even recompiled kernel and done
a kernel upgrade, I believe, since the problem arose.
I'm pretty clueless about what's causing it. Luckily ipfwadm
-Ml works generally, so it's not crippling.
