what do you mean by "likely ports"? you have to know exactly what ports
are required. use tcpdump to log traffic while using your corba software
(when the firewall is down). this will tell you exactly what ports it is
using. then allow/masq/portfw those ports.
if it gets really wierd, try mason which will adapt to whatever traffic
it encounters (in learning mode).
