I have Macs and PC's on my local network. When I try to "autoconfigure"
through the QT Control Panel, I get the message: "Connection has been set to
HTTP because UDP traffic could not be received." The RealPlayer actually
works via UDP on my LAN so I'm sure the ports are open(?). I have tried
portfw and autofw following some examples I found in the archives and in the
How-To's on how to setup other things that use UDP such as CuSeeMe. I even
tried the rtsp_proxy which fails with a segmentation fault. Unfortunately, I
don't have the time to debug it. If you have any insight. I'd appreciate it.

You posting may be to unspecific. I am running QT through masq on dyn IP. I
have no problems. In what area do you see problems or can't you get it to
work at all?
Are we talking Mac or PC platform for QuickTime. I am running both.
