Hello!
I'm running a small IP-masqed network at home, and the masquerading part is
currently working fine.. But lately I've been having problems with the
network card on my own machine. Downloading stuff from the internal network
is fast, about 500k-1M/sec, but when I'm uploading it starts off fast for
the first half-meg or so, then drops to about 50-70k/sec.. Does anyone have
any ideas why? The other computers in the internal net doesn't have this
problem (two win9x machines and the gateway running Linux).
I'm currently running Mandrake Linux 6.1 with a 2.2.13 kernel, and a 3com
3c900 100Mbit card (same card as the others in the network). We've got an
8-port 100Mbit half-duplex hub doing the dirty work. :) The masquerading
machine is also running Mandrake 6.1 with the same card and kernel, and
doesn't have the problem, so I'm starting to wonder if the problem could be
with my card, or cable, or something..
Ideas, anyone?
