We have the firewall set up and works with everything that we use,... ICQ, ftp www and the like. Even the Activeworlds browser works for any world, except for our own, which run on the same machine as the IP Masq. People from the outside can access them without a problem and all works fine. I've tried to apply things similar to the ICQ examples that I've seen here (adjusting protocols and ports of coarse), but to no avail :-( Here's what Activeworlds lists for requirements: "Connecting to the universe server requires a TCP connection to auth.activeworlds.com on port 5670. Both the browser and the world servers connect to the universe server on this port. Connecting to AlphaWorld requires a TCP connection to auth.activeworlds.com on port 7777. Other ActivWorlds.com, Inc worlds require TCP connections on ports in the 7000 -> 7777 range to at.active worlds.come. Non-ActivWorlds.com, Inc worlds are usually, but not always, on port 7777 at other sites. And of course, web access to port 80 at a variety of sites is required for object download, although this can be changed via the browser's proxy configuration. if the browser doesn't open and allow you to change it via the settings tab you will have to set it up manually." Our worlds are set to use 7998 and 7999 and I can see a connection to port 5670 to auth.activeworlds.com when I run ipchains -M -L but not to the ports the worlds are on. If I enter a world other than our own, say awgate, I see it's port in the listing. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
