I have been trying for a while now to get my ICQ to work with SOCKS to no
avail.
While this is not strictly MASQ-related, i was hoping some of you here
might have some "secret info" that could help me solve this problem.
Everything works fine with the module btw.

These are the error messages, straight from my /var/log/messages.
My socks5.conf is identical to Fuzzy Fox's, except for the subnet address
part of course, where i substitute 10.10.10. for 168.192.1.

I start socks5 out of rc.local as root.
My settings are:
Behind firewall, SOCKS5, timeout 30 secs, correct hostname, port 1080,
resolve IP (it's dynamic).
THe test claims it's a success, but when i actually go and connect it
switches from online to offline with a cycle of about 2 seconds.
The lines above are the output of a full cycle.

I really hope someone can help me ...
TIA!

Ranieri.
