First off thanks to they developers, I've been using masqing for quite some time with no problems and it has certainly made life a lot easier for me! Only ran into problems trying to do something specifically weird :-) here. I'm real confused about setting up dialpad for this ancient version of masquerading I am using. I plan on upgrading the server in the next month or so, but for the moment what I have to work with is what I have to work with :). I've been searching and reading archives for the past two days and I must be just missing something here. I have solutions for the 2.2.x kernel, but that hasn't been any help, I've attempted to cross reference what they are doing back to what I have (2.0.36), but haven't had any luck with that either, sigh... Without making this even longer, http://www.dialpad.com is what this refers to and there is a troubleshooting section there. Thier solution for 2.0.x kernels does not apply here, just why I don't know, perhaps it is RedHat related. What I need to translate to the ipfwadm command structure I can show from the newer method of doing things: ipmasqadm autofw -A -v -u -rudp 51200 51201 -ctcp 7175 ipmasqadm autofw -A -v -u -rtcp 51210 51210 -ctcp 7175 I *think* (heh) that what I need is something along the lines of: ipfwadm -I -a -Pudp -S{local IP(s?)} 51200 51201 -D{masq IP} 51200 51201 {out of ideas :( )... I also do not understand if this has to be directed to A) a specific machines IP, B) will be usable by all internal network machines (xxx.xxx.xxx.0/24), C) if this has to be set up for each machine on a seperate ipfwadm line or what. Yes, :( :-/ I am *very* confused :(. The docs have not been real helpful :( in this, how much of that is that I simply do not understand what exactly is going on I honestly don't know (undoubtably mostly).
