This LAN is connecting to a Linux Firewall (Mandrake 6.1 with K 2.2.13). This firewall is connecting to a router for the internet's connection. For the moment, it's only tests: no connection available. In the firewall,with ipchains, i masq all the outgoing message (www, icmp, ftp) in the chain "forward". So normally, i needn't to allow the incoming messages because the masquered messages are automatically demasquered by the firewall. So i deny all the incoming messages. Here my problem: When i ping the router, the icmp message is masquered and demasquered. I forget to specify that the router has a web interface on port 80. So when i want to see the router's page, there is a masuered connection that is done (ipchains -M -L) but no message demasquered. And if there is no rules, so no masq, the message go normally.
