ftp requires use of passive mode when behind a firewall, because active
mode tries to make a connection back to the client. passive mode does not.

Gday,
I setup my 2.0.38 linux box on the network running ipmasq. On my private
network i have a tftp client trying to access a tftp server on the real
world.
But for some reason it seems that tftp can't make it.. as if the masq stuff
needs a pass thru for tftp or something? I thought tftp was real simple
(ie.
doesn't require a data channel or anything etc)
Anyone know of any tftp issues?
tftp: udp, port 69
