in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts look for a file called ifcfg-eth1. It
should contain something along the lines of:
DEVICE="eth1"
IPADDR="198.76.82.99"
NETMASK="255.255.255.128"
ONBOOT="yes"
BOOTPROTO="none"
At least that's what mine does for my DSL connection...
