Since I only have one class C ip range to work with, i use a linux ip masquerading box to be able to have all the stations online at one time. All of the stations connect at 10mbps, and i have a pentium II 266 with 32 megs of ram masquerading, with two 3com etherlink XL NICs running at 100mbps. What kind of performance should i expect with this configuration? also if im having trouble with an application that uses a specific port, is there a way, and how do i masquerade that specific port?
