Perhaps I misstated "I have set up several Linux boxes now using MASQ with a
cable modem, and all work great! But, they all use 1 Ethernet segment on the
private side." While that statement is true, I didn't mention that those
machines also have another NIC for the cable modem. (public side)
Anyway, thanks for input on netmask, and I'm checking for gateway on those
cards this weekend.
