Hmm, very interesting!
A little research shows that you must compile the option "CONFIG_IP_
MASQUERADE_MOD" into the kernel, in order to make use of this module.
This is the option labeled "IP: masquerading special modules support".
I had built this into my kernel already, so I didn't know that it was
needed.
