I’m genuinely curious about the take about it being “anti-theory”? Considering the Foreword by Wendy Brown, not to mention other engagements by other writers listed on the cover, it fits squarely in the academic left’s milieu. Is it because it has a strong zinger in its Introduction for the apocalyptic predictions of Ernest Mandel’s that capitalism should have completely ceased to exist approximately 13 years ago (or was 2012 predicted by the Mayans, I always get the two confused)? (I’m sorry but that Introduction is a nightmare.)
