Attacks on the LGBTQI and immigrant communities are also problematic for
me.Transphobic bigotry is also personally hurtful for me.

That's a teaching opportunity - provided we focus on the ideas and not the
person. IMHO, a post calling out one individual, labeling them with an epithet,
and commenting on their gender crosses the line and qualifies for moderation.
(Opinions on moderation vary among the seven moderators of this list.) I think
that policing ideas is rarely something we want an individual moderator to do,
but critiquing them is our collective task.
