Obviously the Palestinians (and we) need to watch carefully how all this unfolds. But under-estimating both USA and Israeli policy intents to re-make the map are traps for the Left. Even more so of course for the Palestinians and Left on the ground. If the left really wishes to, and (of course it needs to) build, it needs to realistically assess what is happening. H
