The world did not stay silent. The embedded corporate media machine largely enforced silence. In the recent election, the Democrats enforced silence on its ongoing genocide, suppressing and locking out many calling for an end to it -- even as they surrounded the co9nvention. It cost them the presidency. Many, from my own town to cities around the world have been in the streets and the majority of nations and ICC have NOT been silent.
