History repeats itself, "the first time as tragedy, the second time as farce."
Dwight D. Eisenhower, the 34th President of the United States, warned against the dangers of what he called "the military-industrial complex" in his 1961 farewell address to the nation. On his way out of the presidency, Eisenhower warned us about the growing influence of defense contractors and the military establishment on U.S. government and society. Rather than do anything about it during the eight years of his presidency, Eisenhower gave us a warning: Somebody should do something about that! Today we kill millions of people in US wars of choice: The US killed, directly and indirectly, over 3 million civilians in the "war on terror." Iraq had over 1M innocents killed in an invasion for no reason that to launch an invasion of a leading oil producer and feed Zionist illusions about a reconfiguration of western Asia.
