Well, no---The Fugitive Slave Act and the resistance to it were like the overturning of RvW in 2022, and the aftermath then--protest defiance, but still the institution of slavery survived. We know what it took to end that and it sure wasn't making greater demands on progressives. Now "the other side" has been waging a preemptive counterrevolution for years, and we're nowhere near ready for what happens next.
