Some time ago, I came across a video on YouTube of John McWhorter talking with Glenn Loury. I didn't know who either of them were. It was one of those rare, genuine debates where neither person tried to demolish the other. They have quite a few videos together. I'm afraid I'm not as optimistic as you are that the Times is moving away from its woke Resistance™ position. Just today, the WSWS had a piece about their racialist attack on Rome and Greece ( https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2021/02/25/newy-f25.html ). Maybe you're right though.
