Organized by the Institute for Field Research (IFR) in collaboration with MareTerra (https://www.mareterra-erc.org/en), the program offers an intensive training experience along the northwestern coast of Sardinia, where you will: - go out at sea to monitor dolphins and collect behavioral data, - analyze marine soundscapes and work with bioacoustic tools, - study how tourism, fisheries, and other human activities influence coastal ecosystems, - collaborate with researchers and fellow students from different countries. Beyond the scientific activities, the experience allows you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Porto Conte Regional Park and the Capo Caccia–Isola Piana Marine Protected Area, discover local culture, and build skills that are valuable for both academic and professional paths. - Program period: online in May; field activities from June 1 to 13, 2026. - Credits: 4 semester credits (6 quarter credits). - Location: Alghero, Sardinia.
