Acoustic Data Loggers Available We still have 2 of the SNAP recorders available we purchased in 2021 from Loggerhead Instruments to use as part of a specific humpback whale/killer whale research project. Most were used one day to record vocalizations offshore.
We don't need this many hydrophones for our research, so we're selling some so that other marine mammal projects can put them to good use. They're not helping anyone on our shelves. The units are self contained in pvc canisters, battery operated, and store data on SD cards. We had some placed on ledges attached to weights and others suspended in the water column from floats. They have been booted up, function checked, and are in "like new" condition.
