The Sea Watch Foundation is looking for their 2025 interns!

We are looking for interns to join us to assist in the running of the Cardigan Bay Monitoring Project, one of the longest running bottlenose dolphin research projects in Europe.

Gain valuable field experience in marine mammal science, contribute to ongoing conservation efforts and meet like minded people, all in the picturesque New Quay, Ceredigion!

Applications are open for the roles of :
Research Assistant & Intern Coordinator
Education and Outreach Assistant
Research interns

Thanks to the Tallie Brazier Fund, bursaries are available for the Research Assistant and Education/Outreach Assistant and accommodation is provided for the Research Assistant and Education/Outreach Assistant free of charge.

Experience and tasks will vary based on the position applied for but all applicants will benefit from basic training in data collection, photo-identification and marine mammal conservation as well as gaining practical experience in:
-Land-based surveys
-Boat-based surveys
-Working in a small non-profit environment
-Assisting in public awareness events and promoting citizen science
