Alaska Whale Foundation is looking for interns for the 2025 field season! Overview: Alaska Whale Foundation (AWF) is seeking eight interns to participate in a series of research projects in Sitka, Alaska and at our remote field station on Baranof Island, Southeast Alaska (latitude 57.0877 N, longitude 134.8342 W). Successful applicants will assist in collecting and analyzing data for projects examining humpback and/or gray whale health, foraging ecology, and social biology as well as regional oceanography.
