Humpback Whale Population Monitoring (1 position):  Seeking applicants with 
photo-ID and/or data management experience for a summer seasonal position in 
Glacier Bay National Park. This position is primarily responsible for data 
entry and analysis, (e.g., fluke matching, MS Access databases, labeling 
digital images), but will also assist Park whale biologists in conducting 
boat-based surveys of Glacier Bay and Icy Strait once per week, to document the 
distribution, behavior, feeding ecology, and life histories of 
individually-identified humpback whales. The employee will also assist with 
marine mammal stranding response and help maintain a 45-foot humpback whale 
skeleton exhibit. This seasonal position will be hired at the GS-05, GS-06, or 
GS-07 level depending on the applicant's education and work experience. If
