Assistant Professor in Marine Mammal Biology The Department of Marine Biology at Texas A&M University at Galveston invites applications for a full time, tenure-track position with a 9-month academic appointment beginning August 1, 2023. Applicants will be considered for the faculty title of Assistant Professor in marine mammal biology, with an emphasis on their ecology, physiology, behavior, and/or evolution.

The successful applicant will establish and sustain a vigorous externally funded research program and mentor undergraduate and graduate students. Department of Marine Biology occupies space in the Ocean and Coastal Studies Building, a LEED-certified facility home to over 20 research laboratories, two teaching laboratories, and a Sea Life Center with running seawater systems.
