The University of Southern Mississippi offers an opportunity for students to
earn four hours of course credit while participating in a field study of
dolphins in the beautiful waters surrounding the island of Utila, located
off the northern coast of Honduras. Students will learn to record and
analyze marine mammal sounds and behaviors, and will gain first hand
experience in the joys and frustrations associated with field studies of
wild dolphin behavior. The dates of the course are May 17 - June 7, 2008.
