AIS, Inc. is soliciting applications for Endangered Species Observers for Dredge Projects in the Northeast US. Applicants must be US citizens and certified by the National Marine Fisheries Service, Northeast Regional Office as Endangered Species Observers. Additional navigation training and testing is required to be certified as a Dredge Observer by the Army Corp of Engineers.
Most jobs are seasonal in nature, but intensive as observers are deployed on dredge vessels for weeks at a time.
