Best,
Congratulations to all of the Portuguese team! What a wonderful
production of such a high quality product. A good demonstration of the
abilities of LibreOffice Draw in magazine production (with the aide of
the Gimp and Inkscape)!
I love your tutorials in the magazine, they seem quite practical to
users. Also wonderful to see the advertising in the magazine ... do the
advertisers pay to be in the magazine?
It is really nice to see the amount of support you get from editors,
writers etc. on p.2, really impressive.
I am curious, now that the team has had the chance to work on 11
editions of LibreOffice Magazine, it would be nice to have a comment on
how the BR team think of whether the advances in different versions of
LibreOffice (Draw) have made it either easier or harder to produce the
magazine with Draw. For example is it noticeably easier to produce the
magazine with this version of LibreOffice Draw version 4.x.x than when
you first started with version 3.3 and why. This would give us good
feedback on how the LibreOffice work on code has resulted in getting a
better end-result product to your readers.
I know that we have done this before, but do you have a magazine
workflow that you follow that freely available for us to see? It may
inspire some other nl teams to work on their own versions of a
Libreoffice magazine.
Again, another wonderful magazine edition! Thanks!
Marc
