Well i wouldnt necessarily say that professional video editing was
necessary for it as you can see that the majority of the popular videos
on the linux foundations youtube channel really just require some adobe
after effects work. What is most needed is the concept and message of
the video which TDF should oversee so that its done right.

TDF raises already a reasonable amount of money, but there are other
priorities. Professional video production is extremely expensive, and
there are other marketing tools which are far less expensive and more
effective (like media relations).
