Hi, LibreOffice was present at the OpenWorld Forum 2013, which is a major IT event in France (and in Europe). There were several french community members who were present, but due to the peculiar (if not downright cool) way OpenWorldForum events are organized, we had a talk on Friday, and the last day that was open to the public we had a booth that Sophie and I manned. The rest of the days we were there and even got Olivier and Eliane from Brazil to join us on the opening night.
There were good contacts (as usual) and on the last day we got to talk to kids and their parents, most of them being neighbours of the events, about LibreOffice. It went really well and we handed out lots of stickers and pamphlets. You may at some point follow an interview of yours truly in French here: http://www.youtube.com/user/OpenWorldForum but I would actually recommend the other panels and conferences that have already been uploaded there. Many of them are in English. I'll post my slides on my blog as well. Best, -- Charles-H.
