I mostly go to Munich with the train, but in general, I would say that the parking options at the hackfest venue are not that good. The venue is close to the main station, and if you have no luck, only expensive parking garages are available.
In a nutshell: If you can, I would propose you come by train. That being said, maybe one of the Munich local folks has a good tip (I live 100 km outside of Munich).
