Gmail surely doesn't have any problem with "+" addresses- I myself
make big use of those...
clicking the mail-address/automatically created link does work as
well, so I absolutely see no problem with gmail in this regard.

Ok, so it seems to be another problem that some people do have and some people
don't. I have noticed that Windows users seem to have the problem and i have
seen it in Ubuntu. Perhaps it is just Yahoo misbehaving again. I have written
to Yahoo "customer support" a number of times about various issues but have
never heard back. There is a user forum but their answers are along the lines
the lines of "Look, ponies". I was hoping their new beta testing might accept
user-input or just be fixed but sadly not. Still they are very popular and
used
by a LOT of people so we need to be able to work with them in some way rather
than blaming users for the faults created by organisations.
